E3 2009: Halo 3 ODST coming this September
During Microsoft's E3 2009 keynote speech, Bungie's Joe Stanton showed off the first gameplay footage of the stand alone expansion pack, highlighting new weapons and HUD features for the gameplay.
The game will drop on September 22, 2009 globally. He also confirmed that if you purchase the game, you'll get access to the BETA demo for the recently announce Halo Reach.
The gameplay footage look great, with slightly better visuals than Halo 3 and an enhanced visa that is said to be exclusive to ODST soldiers in the game.
