E3 2009: Kojima rebooting Castlevania

Today during Konami's E3 2009 press conference, Hideo Kojima announced that he is developing Castlevania: Lords of Shadows. A trailer was shown with lots of action and a great narration. It was also revealed that Harry Potters Jason Isaacs will be a character.

Gabriel will be the main character. Kojima said that Lord of Shadows is a new start for the franchise and that it isn't in anyway connected to previous Castlevania title. Mercurystream will develop, with Kojima Productions helping out.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadows is set to hit the XBOX 360 and Playstation 3 in 2010.
