Details have emerged about a prequel to one of the most herald and popular games of this generation, Gears of War. However, you won't be able to be a part of the action this time round.
The prequel is set to be in the form of a novel, to be written by games journo Steven Kent who used to work for well-known publications Next-Gen.biz and USA Today.
According to the official blurb of the book, the story looks set to be an interesting and intriguing one that expands on the original story from the game. It "builds upon the characters backstories and gives eager fans their first in-depth look at some of the past events that shaped the games world."
While a Gears of War sequel (or prequel) has not been announced in game form, fans should be able to get their fix in this novel, which is set to be released later this year.
