OK guys, ya'all now the drill! 30 of these medals to give away.

First:

Read our review (shameless plug): www.my360.com.au/

Then, write your own review here: www.my360.com.au/

RULES

1. Reviews must be no less than 200 words
2. Must not be a copy and paste job (must be your own work)
3. Must be a genuine review for GTA: The Ballad of Gay Tony, saying why you like/dislike it so much.

But Mr. Tano, what if I don't own Ballad?

Well, you should go out and buy it. But if you don't have it, write in this thread why you can't wait to play it or why you have no intentions of playing it. Must be over 100 words.

I have no intention of buying it, but I do have intention of at least playing it. I wasn't a fan of GTAIV, infact, I haven't been a fan of GTA since Vice City, as much as I love free roaming games, and you all know I loove free roaming games, something about GTA just doesn't hold my interest, perhaps it's because it's not too far from reality and most of the games I play are in far out fantasy worlds or are set in unlikely deviations of this world (Fallout 3). GTA is just one of those games where I'll have no reservations about chucking it in the tray, but not long after I'll be switching it out for something else. That being said, I did have a whack at TLAD and I thought it was fun, possibly because it was about Bikers, but who's to say a story centralised around a bunch of Latinos and a gay club mogul couldn't be just as fun?

You feel me esé?

I havent yet purchased the ballad of gay tony due to money issues, but hopefully i will get it within the next weeks. i am looking forward to this one because i enjoyed GTAIV immensley, then the lost and the damned was so much better. so with any luck the ballad of gay tony will be just as enjoyable.

I haven't yet played The Ballad of Gay Tony because I have been playing DJ Hero and my mate has been asking me to play Gears of War 2 with him a lot.
It's sitting in my desk waiting for me. I so badly want to play it because the missions seem so much more explosive and better than GTA IV's. (Or so i've heard) Might I remind you that it is 2 games in one? Looking forward to play TLAD and also base jumping in TBOGT. Oh yeah and I've always wanted a tank in GTA IV and now I can have one. Well sort of.

I've already purchased the Episodes from Liberty City disc, but haven't started my Gay Tony playthrough yet. I will plan to though, once I've finished Lost & Damned (with the same disc). Why am I looking forward to playing Ballad of Gay Tony? I just love how these two DLCs interweave with Niko's story e.g. the Elizabeta missions. I'm still mega impressed by the introduction scene alone!! Hint: in the bank, and then Niko driving on the street

Edit: Bah, I can't reach the word count. I just wanted to post my opinion

The reason I havent got the ballad of gay tony is because my mum wont let me. I have played gta IV and I loved it but my mum just wont let me. She says it is too violent, dirty, immature etc,When im older I might get it but then again something bigger and better might be out like gta 5 or 6 or something.from the reviews ive read this seems to be an exciting and exhilarating game that people have had a lot of fun with. It’s a bugger I cant get it. One day I will be an adult with no mother stopping me from doing whatever I want, and I will have any game I want.

Sooo.....

I have no intention whatsoever of buying this game, GTAIV: The Ballad of Gay Tony. If I had sufficient funds and wanted no other game to buy I would get it, but since I'm too poor I can't want to buy it, even if I did have enough funds I wouldn't buy this, I would get a game that actually appeals to me.

Also, I live 200kms from the nearest gaming shop. So even if I wanted the game and had enough money, I would have to wait about 6 weeks during the holidays so I could have the chance of going to Perth. I wouldn't get it posted since I woukd be paying an extra $10 to wait 5 trillion weeks (exxageration) to get the game.

The GTA series never appealed to me THAT much. It's too mature, bloody, violent and gory for me, I can put up with them to a certain extent. Sure, they can be fun. But I can't see these games being worth putting my mums credit card details onto the xbox and spending $36.

Well,

As much as I love the GTA series, I don't think I will be buying this one. GTA IV was a great game, incorporating various elements of the previous games with a great storyline. However, I think the whole series has been dragged on a bit, with most of the features seeming pretty old. As good as this "Add-on" may be, I don't see the point in paying $36 for a few new features. In order for me to even consider buying another GTA game, it must stand out from the pack, as IV just seems to be as bloody and violent as the others.

I would rather spend my hard earned money on something new and appealing e.g. Borderlands.

I haven't yet bought the game. But, who knows? Maybe I might when the price drops.. like at least half price. I put a good 30hrs into playing the GTA IV story. And finished the game again in 15hrs on my other account. And then I just got a bit.. tired of the whole GTA fab. So, I'm not really completely hyped for the game. I think I'll pass on this and wait for GTA V.

The game does hold appeal to me, seeing as I have only played a little portion of the actual GTAIV during the days of my XBox overheating constantly. With that announcement the two episodes were coming as a disc complimentation without the requirement for the actual game, I raised hopes. It seemed like a DLC disc set I would willingly buy,.however it was released in such a horrible schedule. With games such as Borderlands and DJ Hero tempting me, I'll most likely end up passing on it.

But, who knows, maybe once the christmas rush of games is out of the way, I can purchase the DLC package and really get cracking on some mature yet mindless gameplay.

I haven't had the opportunity of playing this game yet, but it will be one of the next games I buy. First of all, the GTA series has always been great and Rockstar always deliver with every game. GTA: IV was an excellent game and had everything from an awesome soundtrack to great graphics and an immense storyline. GTA: IV was just a game I thoroughly enjoyed, I put plenty of hours into that game and there’s no difficult reason to as why I shouldn’t get the new expansion packs. It’s at a cheap price and provides plenty of value at its $50 pricetag. So the only reason I haven’t had the chance to get this is I got too many games to finish and would rather focus on finishing them before I pick this up.

MR Tano, I have absolutely no want to play the ballad of Gay Tony. (Flame shields up). Now there are reasons for this. My main contention with this is the gameplay is EXACTLY THE SAME. So wow you get a parachute. Thats (sarcasm) AWESOME! You could just use the jetpack. My other reason for my uttermost distastefor this DLC is its just repetitive gameplay. Kill this guy, interrogate this guy, go to a club and watch some sick cartoon porn. This frankly is disgusting.

Hahaha JUST KIDDING.

Im so excited to get this game! When i get the proper fundage i will be so getting this. I can't parachute in real life because of fear. So this will have to do.

Im yet to play this unfortunately but have every intention of getting it. Im now also glad Ive taken my sweet **** time because they've delightfully bundled it with Lost & the damned making it even more worth while investing in these expansions. GTAIV is an incredible game and Im glad I know have almost as many hours of joy waiting for me when I get around to purchasing it. Between Borderlands and MW2 that won be for a lil while. But it will certainly be worth the $50 and i will snap it up eventually. There is way to many good titles coming out at the moment to divide my time and money into.

I haven't enjoyed any of the previous GTA titles that I've played so I have no intention of getting this game. Even Bully which was somewhat similar. I just don't see the point to them.

I like stories that have a real narrative drive to them, or game play that is fun. Not this do what ever you like approach. Parachuting off of a building for no reason may be fun once (maybe twice) but beyond that? No thanks. I don't see why people are attracted to the concept that you can do all these unstructured activities for no good reason. Go outside and interact with some real people FFS rather than playing GTA. There are heaps of unstructured activities you can participate in...

I see what you are getting at though. Bully: SE bored the **** out of me and GTA: IV just failed to impress in so many ways.

I don't see the attraction to the ones that would get you sent to gaol though.

In the real world you may get the urge to smack the occasional idiot, but in the game bystanders have done nothing. Mowing down Computer controlled pedestrians holds no attraction to me.

I can't wait to play this for a few reasons. Firstly, I've never played GTAIV, nor do I own an Xbox 360 at this stage. After reading the review for Ballad, it seems to be what seems like the best GTA experience so far. Looks really exciting. So it's that excitement coupled with the excitement of just getting an Xbox 360 that's making it doubly can't-wait-for-it-ful.

And that Episodes disc bundle looks like a pretty good deal. Saves me internet usage, and I get a nice shiny box

Also I hear it brings back tanks and parachutes. They were great fun in the previous games, and in San An. So yeah. Looks good. Can't wait.

The simple reason I bought an Xbox 360 was to play GTA: Liberty City Stories. I have now finished the both games just last night. For me this was the best game of the whole series. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I thought it was colorful and vibrant and was a great storyline. You play as Luis Lopez (my favorite character in the series so far) who is Gay Tony’s right hand man.
I like BOGT because it was action packed, you do missions for your mum and drugs wars for your best two old buddies. I like this because you get a better fell of what kind of person Luis really is. I like how you could have a parachute on you at all times so if u do fall of a building you’re always going to have a safe land. And the thing I liked about it so much especially after playing lost and damned was that they didn’t use that grainy filter crap for the graphics. This was the first GTA I’ve played from start to finish without stopping and playing something else.
The only thing I disliked about this game was they still put the car when driving to the left of screen as they did in GTA IV and Lost & Damned. Besides this I enjoyed it a lot.
I would recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of the GTA series or even new comers

Is this worthy of a medal
